On Saturday, July 24 at 3:30PM in Room 5AB, fans can joinsuperstars Jim Lee (Batman:Hush), Mark Hamill (voice of The Jokerin Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: The Animated Series), writerMarv Wolfman (The New Teen Titans, Blade) along with moderator GregMiller (PlayStation Executive Editor, IGN) and members of the DC Universe Online development team for a peek at theexciting backstory of this action MMO. The panelists will revealfor the first time at Comic-Con the exciting intro cinematic to thegame, where an earth-shattering chain of events puts you at thecenter of the salvation or ruin of the DC Universe! All attendeesof the panel discussion will also receive a DCUO VIP Beta Key!
DCUO Fan Event
On Saturday July 24 from 6:30 – 9:00PM. the Seaview Roomof the Marriott Hotel downtown will be the site where fans can meetExecutive Creative Director Jim Lee and DC Comics writer MarvWolfman, and be the first to hear about the latest game updates aswell as participate in a Q&A with members of the DCUOdevelopment team. Fans can also get another crack at that exclusiveDCUO VIP Beta Key; they’ll be available on a first come,first served basis along with other goodies!
Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures
Based on the popular Cartoon Network series, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures makes its Comic Condebut! Fans will have a chance to exercise their inner Jedi Knight®, with a sneak preview of the game before it goes live thisFall, speeding through space in a starfighter, dueling againsticonic adversaries or even taking out waves of battle droids inTower Defense!
Magic: The Gathering – Tactics
For fans of fantasy, tactical combat and Magic: The Gathering,this is their happy place! Attendees who take the reigns in Magic: The Gathering – Tactics will be transformed into aPlaneswalker, a powerful mage who commands devastating spells andincredible creatures. Players can take their skills into intenseonline tactical battles as they fight in richly illustratedenvironments with all five colors of MagicTM.
SOE Block Party
The SOE Block Party gives fans the chance to join fellow gamersand the developers of SOE’s games at SOE’s San Diego,CA headquarters for music, food, tours, game previews, give-aways,raffles and much more. Additionally, the party will offeractivities for kids, so it’s a great activity for the entirefamily! All are welcome! Attendance is FREE!
Shuttle buses are scheduled to travel round-trip to SOE fromComic-Con every 30 minutes from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Look for the SOEsigns in front of the Marriot Hotel, located north of theConvention Center (toward convention area A). Buses will bereturning to the Convention Center every 30 minutes until8:00pm.
